Our beautiful atmospheric and striking Tipis are the perfect way to create that wow event moment that all your guests will remember. You can link the Tipis to each other to create your ideal event space, enabling you to have as many guests as you would like.
Wedding Tipi Hire specialists
These magnificent structures can be appreciated from a distance and up close. They are weather and windproof, keep you dry in the winter months (or the great British summers) and shaded when it is hot. Our Big Hat Tipi tents are made using natural materials and are all designed and manufactured in Britain.
We actively choose and support businesses that are local and are always very sympathetic to our surroundings.

The Canvas
Our Tipi canvas is a durable outdoor professional grade fabric giving you the ability to have your events under canvas. Being breathable, extremely waterproof, weather resistant and moisture regulating – makes it perfect during the heat of summer and cold in the winter. It is also stable, sun protective and colourfast!
The Poles
The 80 year-old Scandinavian spruce timber poles are light and strong, de-barked and rot-resistant making them the perfect solution for outdoor structures and our Tipi marquee hire. The Tipis for hire are as stable as marquees in high winds, as they have huge load-bearing strength and can be erected on all types of soft and hard surfaces.
The Flooring
Our DandyDura® woven mat flooring is made from polypropylene, non-absorbent, suitable for heeled shoes, strong and is in-keeping with the Tipi look. Flooring is included in all Tipi hire prices.
Big Hat Tipi hire prices
All our Tipi hire prices include mat flooring throughout, warm white fairy lights down the tipi poles, uplighters in each tipi tent and VAT.
We believe in transparency and clarity, which is why we include all the components you will need in our costs. Please note, Tipi haulage charges may apply dependent on your event location, so it’s always best to get in touch for a quote.

To secure your booking and event date with us, we take a 25% deposit and remaining balance is required 60 days before your event.
Other costs
Damage Waiver - If you are unable to cover the Tipi equipment under your wedding insurance you can choose to pay a fee of 5% of the hire charge. In electing to take this option, BST (Blue Sky Tipis) will (subject to T&C’s) take full responsibility for the risk of accidental loss or damage to the equipment supplied directly by BST during the rental period. Furniture Delivery Costs - Delivery and collection of the furniture is at cost from our base. BST does not make any margin on delivery or collection of the furniture and it covers the cost for fuel, congestion charge (where applicable), loading, unloading and driving. Furniture Damage Deposit - The furniture damage security deposit is made to secure the booking and against default by the client of payment of the hire charge and against any loss or damage caused to the furniture. This is returned once the furniture is returned and checked over.
Our Big Hat Tipis measure 10.3m in diameter and comfortably seat approximately 70 people in each. You can lift the sides of the Tipi to create an entrance, or to enjoy your surrounding view. We have lots of suggested floor plans showing ideas of how you can set up your event. The Tipis can easily incorporate dance floors, a band and a stage too. If more than one Tipi is required, we link the Tipis to each-other creating one amazing space to hold as many people as you need!

You have the flexibility to have our Tipis pitched wherever you like. If you know you would like Tipis for your event, but do not have a location in mind to pitch them, fear not!
We have many beautiful venue locations over the South-East of England, from London to the countryside. We can help you source a venue to your specifications, use one of our suggested partner venues, or you can pitch in a space you find.
